Buy gifts for bridal party.
Choose wedding rings and order engraving.
Confirm delivery date of bridal gown and attendants' dresses.
Finalize honeymoon plans.
Hire parking services.
3-2 Months
BEFORE WEDDING DAY
Arrange for accomodations for out-of-town guests.
Contact local newspaper for information on how to place wedding announcement in paper.
Purchase reception favors.
2-1 Months To Go
Arrange for final gown fitting.
Arrange to have belongings moved to new home.
Confirm honeymoon reservations.
Consult caterer about menu.
Get marriage license and be sure you have all the necessary papers, blood tests, birth certificates, etc.
Make arrangements to have bridal portrait taken.
Pack for honeymoon.
Plan rehearsal dinner.
Record wedding gifts received and write thank you notes.
Take up matter of church and reception decorations with florist.
Write and mail invitations.
1 Week Left
Give final guest count to caterer and have final consultations with florist, band, photographer and videographer.
Arrange for name and address changes on bank accounts, credit cards, driver's license and social security.
Inform attendants of time and place of rehearsal.
Purchase travelers checks for honeymoon.
Review reception seating plans.
1 Day Before
Check your luggage and go to bed early.
Tell someone your honeymoon itinerary and have them check your home while gone
